SHELTON, Conn., Oct. 2017 – EAO Corporation, the expert partner for innovative, intuitive and reliable Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), was recently named a 2017 ECN IMPACT Award Winner in the Electromechanical and Mechanical Devices category for its innovative Series 14 Indicator Compact.

Now in its fourth year, the ECN IMPACT Awards recognize ingenuity and creativity among companies of all sizes and highlight the impact they have made on industry and the lives of engineers.

The Series 14 Indicator Compact is a high-intensity, shallow-based LED status indicator providing bright homogenous illumination with 180, all-around visibility due to an innovative domed lens. Using the latest technology, it offers vivid, distinguishable colors that facilitate quick recognition for critical actions or warnings from far distances, and/or in brightly lit areas, all constructed and packaged within an incredibly small, space-saving design.

This component features one of smallest back-of-panel depths in the industry (9.5mm) and its unique and flexible design allows for standard panel mounting with or without a fixing or fastening nut into any 22.5mm threaded cut out. Front protection up to IP69K and IK07 impact resistance enables the Series 14 Indicator Compact to reliably provide more than 50,000 operating hours in even the harshest industrial environments.

“Continually striving to develop unique, multi-functional products that satisfy the needs of a diverse range of applications is a key component behind our position as an “all-in-one” solutions partner for Human Machine Interface components and complete, integrated systems,” said Dan DiGioia, marketing manager, EAO Corporation. “It is truly an honor to be recognized for our dedication and we are ecstatic to witness the influence and impact our products have on the industry.”
