EAO Wins 2014 IMPACT Award for Electromechanical/Mechanical Devices
EAO Corporation recently received the 2014 ECN IMPACT Award in the Electromechanical / Mechanical Devices category.
SHELTON, Conn. (June 19, 2014) – EAO Corporation, the expert partner for Human Machine Interfaces, recently received the 2014 ECN IMPACT Award in the Electromechanical/Mechanical Devices category for its Series 04 Illuminated Selector Switch.
With an improved design to meet an IP65 level of environmental protection, the Series 04 Illuminated Selector Switches feature optional bright LED illumination and an ergonomic actuator designed to meet DIN5566-1 standards. The product is also suitable for a wide range of applications, including rail vehicle driver desks to machinery operating in harsh environments.
“The impact of the Series 04 Illuminated Selector Switch is pretty significant as it allows operators to see the switches they engage and interact with,” said Joe Torzillo, Vice President of HMI Components, EAO Corporation. The innovation here becomes a safety issue – ensuring the operators safety. The illumination feature also eliminates the need for additional panel indicators to specify the status of the functions they control.”
The ECN IMPACT Awards recognize the products and services that had the greatest impact on the electronic components industry during 2013. The awards were presented on May 6, 2014 at EDS in Las Vegas.
