SHELTON, Conn. (August xx, 2014) – United States Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) recently visited EAO Corporation’s new North American headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut. The meeting was also underscored by a meeting with company employees and leadership to discuss the importance of creating jobs and strengthening Connecticut and the United States’ manufacturing sector.

“EAO Corporation’s decision to move its headquarters to Shelton is a big win for the Fourth District and Connecticut’s economy,” said Himes. “EAO’s highly-skilled employees and its new facility are proof that Connecticut has a vibrant, highly-specialized manufacturing sector in the Fourth District that is creating jobs and strengthening economic growth not only in our region, but also for our country.”

EAO recently moved its North American headquarters from Milford to Shelton, Connecticut. The move is a result of a strategic decision to increase manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. and more than doubles EAO’s engineering and manufacturing capacity.
