Smart products shaping the future of mobility.
Universal Sound Module.
Acoustic feedback for safe passenger access
Door signals play a key role in ensuring safety on public transport. With the new Universal Sound Module, EAO is bringing the next generation of acoustic warning systems to the railways. It allows you to configure up to 15 sound sequences and audio files.
With the new EAO ConfigSuite, you can set volume and sound characteristics easily and consistently. An advanced, continuous ambient noise measurement system ensures rapid self-adjustment of the sound output level. You can adjust the parameters yourself for individual devices or entire fleets. This reduces the effort required during commissioning and minimises sources of error. In terms of design, the Universal Sound Module integrates seamlessly into the Series 56 and 57 form factor.
Advantages
- Instant sound output adjustment thanks to continuous ambient noise measurement
- Up to 15 sound sequences per device
- Adaptive volume from 40 dB(A), fully customisable
- Complies with TSI PRM, EN 14752:2025, EN 50155:2026 and the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- Uniform design for the 56 and 57 series
Typical applications include sound output for passenger access systems, sound output for people with reduced mobility and sound output for toilet systems.
Series 56 Touchless.
Hygienic and safe, completely touch-free.
There is a growing demand for improved hygiene – and therefore for touch-free solutions – particularly in train toilets. The new Series 56 Touchless operates entirely without any physical contact.
An infrared sensor detects a hand or finger before it touches the surface. The detection range can be adjusted between 0 and 15 cm. An on/off delay of 0 to 2.5 seconds prevents accidental operations.
An audible feedback tone confirms each operation, ensuring that passengers with reduced mobility also receive confirmation, completely without any contact. For additional safety and redundancy, an option that requires a physical touch to the button surface is also available.
Advantages
- Touchless operation improves hygiene on heavily used surfaces
- Same mechanical interface as the 56 and 57 Series, facilitating retrofitting
- LEDs, actuation distance and sound output can be freely configured
- Modern LED technology is energy-efficient and has a long service life
- Can be integrated into a front plate with a haptic push button
With the EAO ConfigSuite, you can flexibly adjust the actuation distance, LED colours and the behaviour of light and sound. The 56 Touchless series complies with the latest railway standards and the safety requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Series 56 Push button Gen3.
The legendary click. Now ready for the future.
The Series 56 push button has been making history since 1996. Its click and haptics are regarded worldwide as the benchmark for safety and intuitive operation. With the third generation, EAO is building on this foundation.
A new, modular base board makes the push button more flexible. It features four LED colours, with NO or NC switching behaviour (including potential-free options), and covers voltage ranges from 24 to 110 VDC, thus catering to a wide range of applications. The cable connector is from the 57 Series, simplifying the replacement of spare parts. Existing symbols, lens covers and front bezels remain available.
Advantages
- New, future-proof electronic architecture ensures long-term availability and reliable operation
- Complies with the latest EN standards, for greater safety and long-term compliance
- Harmonised LED colours ensure a consistent appearance across the entire portfolio
- The integrated Series 57 connector simplifies the replacement of spare parts
The ‘click’ remains familiar. The technology behind it is ready for the next generation of rail projects.
ConfigSuite.
Software for all device parameters.
With the new EAO ConfigSuite, you can flexibly adapt device parameters to individual requirements. Hardware-independent settings reduce the number of variants. This simplifies engineering and service processes and shortens implementation time.
At the same time, the software supports compliance with standards and regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and EN 50716:2023 for software in railway technology. EAO is constantly expanding its range of functions and supported products. This means you benefit from a scalable solution.
Advantages
- Flexibly customise device parameters independently of hardware
- Fewer variants thanks to hardware-independent settings
- Simpler engineering and service processes, shorter implementation time
- Compliance: CRA and EN 50716:2023
- Ongoing additions of new functions and supported products
Charging solutions.
Charge faster and travel with confidence.
EAO is expanding its range of charging solutions with two new products. The round desktop wireless chargers now deliver up to 15 W, which speeds up the inductive charging of mobile phones. A magnetic positioning ring holds compatible smartphones securely on the charger and aligns them precisely. This improves pairing and makes the charging process more efficient.
Also new to the range is a USB-C power supply with PPS and Power Delivery 3.0. It delivers up to 60 W. The charging voltage adjusts automatically: lower for smartphones, 15 to 20 V for laptops. This reduces conversion losses, shortens the charging time and protects the battery. You can mount the matching USB-C sockets flexibly, for example on seat backs or between seats. Passengers simply need to bring their own cable.
Advantages
- 15 W charging power for faster wireless charging
- Magnetic positioning ring for secure, precise alignment of the smartphone
- USB-C power supply with up to 60 W, PPS and Power Delivery 3.0
- Automatic voltage adjustment to suit the device, less heat, shorter charging time
- Flexible mounting of USB-C sockets, easy retrofitting
Series 57 Glass adapter.
Now even more versatile.
With the new glass mounting adaptor, EAO is expanding the range of applications for the single- and double-sided glass variants of the 57 Series. The adaptor covers glass thicknesses from 4 to 12 mm and offers greater flexibility for modern door applications. You can integrate the solution more easily and with less design and adaptation work.
Series 57 Triangular front bezels.
Four new shapes for greater safety.
Even more choice for you: with four new triangular front bezels, EAO is expanding its range of emergency call and emergency intercom systems according to EN 16683. The design reduces the risk of accidental operation and makes operation more intuitive. The robust design blends seamlessly with the styling of the Series 57.
